Although “Budva Bay” is painted in a more “realistic” manner, because the objects (the ship and the church) are combined with the geometric element, a polyphony of meanings emerges. It lies in the fact that the space of the bay and the sky become united in the hotels along the shore. At the same time, the clouds and the sea on the left side of the painting transform into an objectless abstract space.

As part of the Geometric Impressionism series, “Budva Bay” explores the relationship between landscape, architecture, and geometric abstraction. The work reflects the dialogue between direct observation and Supraspace, where natural scenery gradually transforms into a structured visual language.
